Farm Boy Farms was created in 2011 to provide locally grown barley, wheat and hops to microbreweries and expert homebrewers. We currently grow 2-row barley and five varieties of hops on our farm. We control the entire process of our grains from planting, harvesting, debearding, seed cleaning, malting, kilning and packaging. We control the entire process of our hops from planting, harvesting, drying and packaging. Local ingredients allow microbreweries and expert homebrewers to create the highest quality beer possible. All of our products have been assessed at Appalachian State College using High Performance Liquid Chromatography and American Society of Brewing Chemists protocols and procedures. Grown in NC to be brewed in NC!
